Adrian Bruneau is the founder of Presidio Strategic Solutions, bringing decades of experience at the intersection of politics, policy, and campaign execution. His work is defined by a disciplined, operational approach to complex environments—shaped by a career spanning military service, state government, and national political strategy.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Bruneau served 15 years across active duty and reserve components, specializing in avionics systems and aircraft electronics. His time in uniform instilled a systems-oriented mindset and a focus on execution under pressure—principles that continue to define his approach to advocacy and strategy.
Following his military service, Bruneau transitioned into government, serving as a legislative aide in the Louisiana State Senate before moving into political consulting. He went on to lead and advise campaigns across the Gulf South and nationally, with experience spanning mayoral, judicial, and congressional races.
His work reflects a campaign-driven approach to advocacy—integrating communications, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution into cohesive strategies designed to perform in contested environments. In 2016, he served as an at-large delegate from Louisiana to the Republican National Convention, contributing to national-level political efforts.
Bruneau founded Presidio Strategic Solutions to apply this experience beyond campaigns, helping clients navigate high-stakes policy and regulatory challenges with discipline and clarity. His work is grounded in the belief that effective advocacy is not driven by access alone, but by judgment, preparation, and execution when it matters most.
He studied at the University of New Orleans and Loyola University New Orleans.
John Gordon is a partner at Presidio Strategic Solutions, bringing more than two decades of experience in external affairs, government relations, and strategic policy. His work focuses on delivering legislative, regulatory, and reputational outcomes in complex, high-stakes environments across the energy, infrastructure, and public policy sectors.
Prior to joining Presidio, Gordon spent over a decade as an executive at Entergy Corporation, where he led enterprise-level external affairs and stakeholder engagement initiatives across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. His work included advancing clean energy and nuclear policy priorities, supporting major infrastructure and asset transactions, and advising senior executives on policy risk, crisis response, and stakeholder strategy. He also developed and implemented a strategic planning and performance framework to align advocacy efforts with enterprise objectives.
Earlier in his career, Gordon held roles in public affairs and government, including service in the office of a U.S. Senator. He has advised and managed more than 300 political campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels, bringing a campaign-driven approach to advocacy that integrates communications, coalition-building, and execution under pressure.
Gordon remains active in industry and civic leadership, including roles with the Nuclear Energy Institute and other policy-focused organizations, and serves as a volunteer firefighter in Harrison, New York. He studied political science and history at the University of California, San Diego, and public relations and political communication at the Johns Hopkins University.
